Kansas City is also home to a number of professional sports teams including the Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs, and Sporting Kansas City. The city boasts wide boulevards, beautiful parks, fantastic architecture and more than 200 fountains; not to mention world-class museums, a vibrant arts district and superb shopping and attractions. Lastly, with the brand new renovations of the Charles Spurgeon Center for Biblical Preaching, our students now have access to Charles Spurgeon¡¯s personal library. KC is where you need to be.

Kansas City is home to three professional sports teams. Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Chiefs, holds the world record for loudest football stadium. If you¡¯ve never heard the national anthem there, it¡¯s worth the price of admission. Kansas City is a place that desperately needs the gospel and is home to over 100 languages and more than 1.5 million lost people. The Kansas City metro area gives students the incredible opportunity to help the local church reach the Midwest while being trained in a challenging ministry context that will prepare them for future ministry, wherever God leads them.
With over 100 Southern Baptist churches within a 20-mile radius, membership and service in the local church is quickly accessible. These churches are why Midwestern Seminary exists¡ªand are a crucial part in the effort to reach Kansas City with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
